Gryphons Women 1st, Men 2nd after Day 1 at OUA Track & Field Championships

OTTAWA (CIS) - On Tuesday, February 23 the CIS released its weekly ranking with a total of seven Gryphon teams receiving national rankings.

GUELPH, ON - It was last chance weekend in CIS track and field and the Gryphon track and field teams took full advantage with 13 Gryphons improve their spots and moving into CIS qualifying positions as well as two relay teams.

GUELPH, ON Oren Furmanov (WRSTL) and Ashley Connell (T&F) have been named Gryphon Athletes of the Week for the period ending February 16, 2016.

GENEVA, OHIO - University of Guelph Track and Field athletes had strong showings on both sides of the border this weekend. The Gryphons had a split squad with half the team heading to Geneva, Ohio and the other half of the team heading to Windsor.
