Gryphon cross country runners Genevieve Lalonde and Ross Proudfoot were named this week's Gryphon Athletes of the Week for the period ending October 28. 

It was the type of day and the type of course that people will be talking about for years, and it was the type of performance that will be in the memories of OUA cross country fans for many seasons to come.

The third annual New Balance Vic Matthews Open will be hosted this Saturday at the University of Guelph Arboretum Cross Country course. The women's 5k race begins at 11:30 am with the men's 8k to follow at 12:15 pm.
