Gryphon Women Capture CIS Title & Men Finish SecondPublished by
The team competition at the CIS track and field championships is often described as a roller coaster. This weekend's championship in Edmonton gave the term new meaning for the Guelph Gryphons; with three disqualifications, a relay team that crashed to the track and two team titles that were separated by a combined nine points at the end of the meet both of which were decided in the final event. In the end Gryphons return to Guelph with their first CIS title on the women's side since 2008 and came up six points short on the men's side to the York Lions. Read the full article at: gryphons.ca
